A/V Class Gains National Recognition

The Queen Creek High School A/V class has been nationally recognized for its video about community service at our school. The video was selected as a second runner up for the Rihanna "Shine Like A Diamond" contest. This was a contest set up by Rihanna and her management team to highlight community service taking place at high schools around the country. The video entry was created by tenth grader, Daniel Madrigal. It beat out videos from Knocksville, TN, New York City, and many others.

For a contest of this magnitude, being recognized in the top three is something really awesome for the school and the entire community. He, along with our A/V program, will receive signed posters from Rihanna as prizes.
