 Welcome to Career and Technical Education (CTE)! Being in education for 23 years has given me the opportunity to see a lot of campuses, meet a lot of teachers, and see a lot of students. I am so excited and pleased to be a part of what I believe to be the best school in the state. As parents most of us want our students to lead full and productive lives and part of that is being successful in the workforce. CTE teaches the necessary skills for today’s workplace. In addition to focusing on soft skills such as leadership and workplace ethics and responsibility, our rigorous courses in in Marketing, Early Childhood Education, Law, Design and Merchandising, Culinary Arts, Drafting, Construction, Health Occupations, Sports Medicine, Theatre, Agriculture, Multimedia offer students the opportunity to be career-ready. We are proud of our teachers and the programs we offer. Multiple studies show that students who concentrate in a CTE program are more likely to graduate from high school and score higher on standardized tests.
