Return to School SY20–21

Dear QCUSD Parents/Guardians,

On June 29, Governor Doug Ducey issued an executive order delaying the opening of school buildings until August 17, 2020. The order impacts the opening of all schools in the Queen Creek Unified School District. In light of this announcement, our schools will not physically open on July 22, 2020. However, we are working to determine if we can still begin the school year (via distance learning) on July 22 so that students can continue their learning activities.

QCUSD anticipated additional changes and has been patient and thoughtful in its approach to ensure effective communication without multiple changes to both families and staff. As we process this latest executive order, we are working with the governing board to determine considerations for students, staff, and families. We also understand that this announcement may bring many questions, and we are working to answer those questions reliably and efficiently.

In the meantime, please continue to check the Parent FAQ, and thank you for your patience and support during this time.

Free/Reduced Meal Application

The application for free/reduced breakfast and lunch will be available for the 2020–2021 school year on July 1. For online applications, please visit the Titan School Solutions website.

Per regulation IJJR, the district will place textbooks and supplementary books for common schools recommended by textbook selection committees on display in the district office for a period of at least 60 days prior to the meeting at which the board will consider its adoption.

What is Krugman’s MacroEconomics for AP Course Third Edition? AP macroeconomics provides a complete correlation guide to college boards current curriculum framework for AP macroeconomics. It is the recommended text from the College Board.
